Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use the GCCI website or engage GCCI for investigation help. By using the site or engaging us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the site or engage our services.

Who we are

GCCI is Gus & Co Cyber Investigations, an independent initiative providing flat-fee small-case OSINT investigation help and free educational resources for cybercrime victims. GCCI works alongside Rexxfield Technologies for larger or court-grade matters.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to engage GCCI's paid services. If you're a minor, do not submit an intake. See the Privacy Policy for guidance on resources appropriate for minors.

Services and scope

GCCI's paid services are limited to:

Services are described in detail on the Investigation Help page, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

Acceptable use — personal use only

Our reports are personal-use OSINT findings. They are not "consumer reports" under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). You agree not to use any information we provide for any of the following purposes:

You also agree not to use any information we provide to harass, stalk, threaten, or commit any illegal act against another person.

What we don't do

GCCI does not engage in any of the following, regardless of payment offered:

Payment, refunds, and turnaround

Service tiers and prices are listed on the Investigation Help page. Payments are processed by Stripe and are due in full before work begins. The flat fee is non-refundable once work begins. If we determine before starting that we cannot take your case, no charge will apply, or any payment received will be refunded in full.

Each tier has a stated turnaround window. If for any reason a delivery would slip past that window, we'll notify you in writing before the deadline.

No guarantee of identification or recovery

We do our best with the data that's actually findable. We do not and cannot guarantee identification of any subject, recovery of any funds, removal of any content, or any specific outcome. Regardless of outcome, you will receive a detailed written report documenting what we checked, what we found, what's still uncertain, and what you can do next.

Confidentiality

We do not publish client cases, list client names, or discuss your engagement publicly. The only exception is a lawful subpoena or court order, of which we would notify you unless legally prohibited.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GCCI's total liability arising from or relating to any engagement is limited to the amount you paid for that specific engagement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, emotional distress, or damages arising from any decision you make based on our findings.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GCCI from any claim arising out of your misuse of any findings we provide, including any use prohibited by FCRA or by the "Acceptable use" section above.

Third-party services and routing to Rexxfield

If your case exceeds our scope, we may recommend Rexxfield Technologies. Rexxfield operates separately under its own terms and pricing. We are not responsible for, and do not warrant, third-party services.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally between us will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.

Before filing any legal action, you agree to first contact us at Gus@gcci.io and give us 30 days to attempt to resolve the issue.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes apply prospectively (engagements already in progress remain governed by the terms in effect when you submitted your case). The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
