Cybercrime help, done the way you'd want it done if it happened to you.
Most cybercrime victims hit a wall. The platforms shrug, law enforcement is overwhelmed, and most of the places offering help are recovery scams going after people who already got scammed once. GCCI exists in that gap.
What we do
GCCI (Gus & Co Cyber Investigations) runs two things:
- A free resource hub for cybercrime victims: practical guides, evidence preservation steps, routing to the correct reporting channels, and scam alerts. No signup, no tracking, no follow-up emails. You can leave at any time, no trace left behind.
- Flat-fee small-case investigation help for situations where the free guidance isn't enough: catfisher attribution, fake-account tracing, basic OSINT lookups, and case triage. Three tiers, transparent prices, detailed written report whether or not we crack the case.
Why "small-case"
Because the big-case work already exists. Rexxfield Technologies has been doing court-grade cybercrime attribution for over two decades, including expert testimony, civil litigation support, and large-scale financial fraud recovery. That work is excellent. It's also expensive and slow, by necessity.
Meanwhile most victims have a smaller, simpler question. Who is this person? What do I do next? Is there any way to get my photos taken down? Those questions deserve a real answer at a price someone in distress can actually afford. That's what GCCI is built for.
How we work with Rexxfield
GCCI is an independent initiative that works alongside Rexxfield. We share methodology and standards but operate separately. When a case that comes to GCCI needs court-grade attribution, expert testimony, or specialized recovery work, we route it to Rexxfield with the client's consent. When a case at Rexxfield is too small to justify their billing, they sometimes send it our way.
Our approach
- Privacy-first. No third-party trackers, no analytics pixels, no saved chat history. We don't run remarketing, share client lists, or publish identifying case studies.
- Trauma-informed. Cybercrime victims are often dealing with shame, fear, and second-guessing on top of the practical problem. We try to write and respond accordingly: calm, non-judgmental, direct.
- OSINT only. We work strictly within legal boundaries. Open-source intelligence and the evidence you provide. No pretexting, no hacking, nothing that puts either of us in legal jeopardy.
- Honest about limits. We don't promise outcomes we can't guarantee. We tell you up front when a case is outside what we can do, and we point you somewhere it can.
If you need help right now
Start at the homepage — the situation router will point you at the right reporting channel for your case. If you've already gathered evidence and want paid investigation help, the Investigation Help page lists all three tiers with prices on the page.
If you're not sure where to begin, text or email is the fastest way to get a human response.
